Izzy Stradlin' originally born as Jeff Isabelle had been a long time friend of Axl. They grew up together in Lafeyette Indiana where he moved from to participate in bigger bands. He was one of the bigger song writers for Guns N' Roses and he wrote songs such as "You could be mine" (With Axl), and Locomotive. He did indeed enjoy the Guns years when it was new... and in 1991 he realized that he didn't want to do this anymore.

Now the Guns N' Roses days are over for him and he started his own band after he quit called "Izzy Stradlin' & The JuJu Hounds". In 1998 he released his second Ju Ju Hounds album "117º" and yet his continues to work with his band...
