Axl Rose was the front man of Guns N' Roses, he was born & raised in Lafayette, Indiana. When he was younger he met former rythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin'... they grew up together in the same town. Later in early 1985 they tried to form a band called 'HollyWood Rose', they put up an ad in the Recycler for a bass player. About a week later Duff McKagan happened to see the ad and called them and then joined the band. At the same time this was happening Former drum player and guitarist Steven Adler & Slash were also trying to form a band called "Road Crew". When Duff had mentioned that he heard of their band (Slash's & Steven's) to Axl and Izzy finally they got together. Later they put their their small bands together and formed even a bigger band... "Guns N' Roses". They became Guns N' Roses in 1895 and in 1987 released their biggest hit Appetite For Destruction. Their hit songs "Welcome To The Jungle", "Sweet Child O' Mine", & "Paradise City" carried them up to #1 on billboards. They were the most requested band on MTV.... by 1995 Guns N' Roses sold more than 13 million copies. The album stayed at #1 for five weeks on the charts for about three years.

Axl dropped out of high school to move to California... by age 20 he compiled a police record that included charges for public intoxication, criminal trespass, and contributing to the delinuency of a minor. Yet Axl seems to still be getting into trouble, though this is nothing new to all Gn'R fans. Axl has never went solo; everyone has questioned this for along time since the band split in probably 1994. In early Febuary of 1999 he was supposed to be taking a flight to California from Phoenix Arizona. He was arrested later that night for trying to attack or get passed a security guard.

Marrage & Girlfriends of Axl--- Well there has been some over the years. His first marrage was to Erin Everly they got divorced in less than 3 months. Stephanie Seymore was a model and only a girlfriend, she appeared in the "Don't Cry" & the "November Rain video".
